wovyn — White Noise & Ambient Sounds
wovyn is developed and operated by MB Code Studio ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and what choices you have.
Account information. If you create an account or sign in with Google, we collect your email address, display name, and a unique user identifier. This data is stored securely by Google Firebase Authentication.
Analytics. We use Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as app opens, feature usage, and crash reports. This data does not identify you personally and is used solely to improve the app. You can opt out of Analytics data collection in your device settings.
Audio streaming. When you play sounds that are not bundled with the app, audio files are streamed from Google Firebase Storage. These requests are logged by Firebase infrastructure (IP address, request metadata) as part of standard service operation.
Local data. Your preferences, favorites, custom mixes, and sound schedules are stored locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly use a cloud sync feature in the future.
The app uses the following Google Firebase services, which are governed by the Firebase Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy:
Account data is retained for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us, and we will delete your associated data. Anonymous analytics data is retained according to Google Firebase's standard retention policies.
wovyn is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
We use industry-standard security measures provided by Google Firebase to protect your data. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
